Shannon is a connector and an activator. She has spent over 12 years supporting communications teams in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. With expertise in strategic communications, Shannon has led the development and execution of public relations initiatives that align with business objectives and regulatory milestones.
She likes getting things done! She has collaborated cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful messaging across diverse channels. Throw her on a team to support any therapeutic area and she will dive in to learn the disease state, patient needs and how the science works. She brings a diverse background with hands-on experience across internal to external communications, issues management, employee engagement, and brand communications, but she really enjoys advocacy engagement the most where she gets to meet and help patients advocacy leaders and patients themselves.
She has an MBA from Villanova. NOVA Nation. She enjoys ripping down a mountain side on her mountain bike with her husband; cheering her 4 kids (including twins!) on in sports; and supporting women in the women’s ministry at her church.

Kellie Rivest Caldwell has 25+ years of combined pharmaceutical and small business public relations and marketing experience. Working with several of the top 5 pharmaceutical / biotechnology companies in the world, Kellie has provided PR and marketing counsel to her clients to create and direct the vision, strategy and tactical
execution of clients’ direct-to-consumer, relationship marketing in support of driving business sales.
Kellie’s most recent work has been in managing communication and marketing for AstraZeneca and Novavax. She has extensive knowledge in broad-scale marketing, branding and image management, issue and crisis management and media relations. Kellie has crafted culture-shaping internal communication strategies for C-suite executive
leadership covering key topics such as health equity, research advancements, major medical milestones, sustainability, employee voice, people development, work-life balance,
Covid-19 pandemic response, and digital engagement. Her expertise includes message development, presentation training and tactical delivery of messaging to both internal and external audiences.

Kellie is a graduate of University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a concentration in public relations. She lives in Landenberg, Pennsylvania and has been a youth volunteer in Delaware and Pennsylvania both playing and coaching lacrosse for 25 years. She was on the Board of Directors for Avon Grove Wildcats Girls Lacrosse, serving as the Director of Coaching. Kellie’s passion for sports is supported by her deep belief that team sports provide our next generation with a strong foundation of critical life management and communication skills.

Cindy Callaghan is a gifted storyteller and seasoned consultant with nearly thirty years of experience spanning big pharma and beyond. With a strong background in corporate communications, she has supported a wide range of brands, therapy areas, and life-cycle stages across the U.S. and global markets. Known for her ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, Cindy brings strategic insight, clear communication, and a creative approach to problem-solving.

Andrea Conners is a seasoned communications executive with 20 years of global experience spanning the pharma, biotech, startup, non-profit, and academic sectors globally. She brings a rare combination of strategic leadership and hands-on expertise across media, crisis, internal, investor, and patient communications. Andrea has led teams, advised CEOs, and driven major brand, reputation, and growth initiatives—most recently building the Corporate Affairs function at genomic startup Biofidelity and helping raise $60M in funding. She previously scaled a national patient advocacy non-profit as Executive Director and held senior roles at AstraZeneca, where she led global R&D communications and shaped the company’s scientific narrative. Andrea’s track record reflects her ability to lead through complexity, connect stakeholders, and deliver impact at scale.
She holds a dual BA/BS in Journalism and Biology from Penn State and a MS in Environmental Communications from Yale University.

Dan received his bachelors degree from the University of Delaware and his Masters in IST for Web Development. He previously worked for numerous fortune 500 companies as a SQL developer while building and hosting numerous websites for both small and large businesses. Dan has built and hosted sites that range from a Staffing Website for a large Hospital to a Pizza shop with order online capabilities. Dan has extensive experience in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JQuery, React for App production and much more. Dan enjoys mountain biking, motocross and camping with his Wife and 3 kids.

An award-winning graphic designer with a diverse background that includes brand identity development for new and traditional media, web design, print collateral and publication design. During her career, Lori has led the creation of significant identity schemes for the banking, higher education, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and publishing industries, among many others. A multi-faceted designer, Lori recently completed work on a major exhibition design for the Justice Federal Credit Union. To recharge, Lori enjoys camping, cooking, and candle-making.

Emily Reed is an accomplished Senior Communications Manager with deep expertise in strategic communication. At Early Light Public Relations, she crafts engaging narratives for both pharmaceutical companies and startups, ensuring effective audience connection and leveraging her extensive experience in video creation and other multimedia content. Additionally, she is skilled in event planning logistics and organization, ensuring the seamless execution of projects. Her ability to collaborate with agencies, conference organizers, and in-house teams ensures that client needs are met with precision and creativity.
Previously, Emily was a Communications Assistant at Boardwalk Public Relations (June 2018 – July 2021), supporting global organizations in the biopharmaceutical sector. Her contributions to media relations and executive outreach earned over five high-profile awards in pharmaceutical PR.
Emily is dedicated to helping clients, from startups to multinationals, communicate more effectively and build meaningful relationships with stakeholders. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Delaware. She is based in Rehoboth Beach, DE.
